How many years has VandenBout Snow & Lawn, Inc. been in business?

The snowplowing portion of the business was started by Jay VandenBout, grandfather, in 1962. Then Ken VandenBout Sr., father, started his own business in 1976. Ken VandenBout Jr., son, began in 1981. For over fifty years this strong family oriented business has grown and additional additional services since its inception.

What options are available to hire and schedule work?

There are basically three types of contracts available:

Annual Contracts are available for property owners in two ways:

• 12 Month Annual Contracts receive the benefit of year round property maintenance, *Spring clean up, mowing, edging, fertilizing & weed control, driveway snowplowing and Fall clean up. (The total for all services are tallied and divided into 12 equal monthly installments for customer convenience.) Clients choosing to pay in full at the beginning of the season receive a 5% dismount.

• 8 Month Annual Contracts receive the benefit of most of the above mentioned services* less driveway snowplowing. (Because this covers 8 months the accounts are tallied and divided by 8 equal monthly installments.)

Many clients prefer these proposals compared to competitors as there are no additional hidden costs. Seasonal services are offered for many other options as well.

• Seasonal Contracts are available for a variety of services:

Snowplowing, tree trimming, bark application, bark - delivery only, pruning & hedging, gutter/eaves cleaning, light landscaping, fertilizer & weed control, insecticide application. (These services are based on a per/hour or per/job rate and are generally billed separate from annual accounts.)
